SFS was created to give fashion stylists a platform to showcase their talent and gain industry exposure, making history as the first-ever stylist-led show on the NYFW calendar. I had the incredible opportunity to have two of my designs featured in the show, thanks to one of the stylists who selected my pieces to bring their vision to life. In addition to showcasing my work, I also worked behind the scenes as a dresser, ensuring each look was runway-ready.
I showcased my 'Sheer Embroidered Cap Sleeve Shirt' and repurposed 'Embroidered Low Waist Shorts' from my Bora Lá collection, alongside a custom 'Double Sleeve Upside Down Jean Jacket' and 'Knot Denim Hat' designed specifically for the show. The jacket was constructed using two thrifted pairs of jeans, completely flipped upside down to create an unexpected silhouette. I repurposed the pant legs as oversized sleeves, resulting in a dramatic double-wide cuff effect, and incorporated a matching embroidered back pocket for added detail. This design was my way of pushing the boundaries of denim, blending deconstruction, volume, and sustainability into a fresh, statement-making look.

For the Stylist Fashion Show (SFS) at NYFW, stylist Jhordyn Auguste approached me to incorporate one of my all-white looks from my Live Fast Die Young collection into her showcase. The look featured my 'Backless Poncho', 'Tube Top', and 'Wide Leg Box Pleat Pants', creating a sleek yet dramatic silhouette. To enhance the styling, Jhordyn envisioned a red carpet-inspired element, which led me to sew a veil directly onto the model’s hair, adding an ethereal, high-fashion touch to the final presentation.
